First of all, we want to thank everyone who purchased produce with us this past season, and for supporting your local farmer.
We are in the business of growing and selling produce. We also raise poultry and sell the eggs and the meat. We grow our produce as naturally as possible and are recognized with Certified Naturally Grown. (http://www.naturallygrown.org/farms/1724)
Starting May of 2010 we are now raising ducks. We have chosen to start with Khaki Campbells. We will be offering duck eggs and meat when it is ready.
Our family has a stand out in front of the house.
Our chickens free range. In our case this means they get to roam our property and the property next door as they see fit. They are allowed to be chickens, hunting for bugs and hiding in the trees. We do supply them with fresh water, and an ample supply of food. Of course, we have shelter for them, in their very own house. They return the favor by supplying us with plenty of compost for our garden and eggs to eat.
We do not use pesticides or herbicides on our property.
